Recognised for their snappy (pun intended!) 'Putting Our (Travel) Money Where Our Mouth Is' campaign, the Aussie experts in foreign currency exchange have secured finalist spots in two categories:
- AI Innovation Campaign
- Travel & Leisure Campaign
Developed in partnership with global digital marketing agency Jellyfish, the campaign leveraged the creative power of Pencil Pro to produce 100% AI-generated video content. Google's cutting-edge models were used for every aspect of the campaign: Gemini for insights and copy, Veo for video generation, and Nano Banana for imagery.
The strategy focused on reaching travellers during the critical ‘inspiration phase’ – before the packing list and the airport run.
Tapping into the hard-to-reach
By utilising generative AI to craft four unique videos optimised for YouTube Shorts, Travel Money Oz was able to successfully mirror the high-energy style of travel creators. The campaign didn't just look the part; it delivered a significant, data-backed impact:
- 2.3 million views across the series.
- 136% Click-Through Rate (CTR) above industry benchmarks.
- 18% Lift in brand searches among the key 25-44 demographic.
